Every year, overseas government delegations arrive in Australia to audit our meat export system. Before they visit a single establishment, they sit through an entry meeting: hours of technical briefing covering legislation, animal health, traceability, certification and government oversight. DAFF's Meat Exports Branch wanted to replace that briefing with something people could actually absorb.

We produced four training videos. A full overview of the Australian meat export system, presented to camera with narration and infographics. A dedicated module on halal certification and the AGAHP partnership. And two animated modules, one on what auditors focus on during a site visit, the other on cultural sensitivities for the Australian teams hosting them.

Filming ran across Canberra, regional Victoria and South Australia, covering laboratories, farms and processing establishments, plus aerial work under our CASA ReOC. Every location carried its own biosecurity, hygiene and safety requirements, and we worked inside all of them. The animated modules were produced in house to DAFF's brand palette. Everything was delivered with transcripts, captions and accessible versions with extended pauses.

The first overseas delegations have now watched them. The videos are doing exactly what they were built to do: giving auditors a clear, consistent picture of how Australia's meat export system works before anyone sets foot on site.
